Europe May Fall Behind This Objective-Historical Process, Lavrov
Russia is ready to find a balance of interests in resolving the current crisis in Ukraine. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a meeting of the UN Security Council, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“In the case of mutual guarantees and coordination of agreements, it will be necessary to consider the new geopolitical realities in Eurasia, where a truly equal and indivisible continental security architecture is being formed. Europe may fall behind this objective-historical process. We are ready to seek a balance of interests,” said Lavrov.
It is worth recalling that on the early morning of February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided on a special military operation against Ukraine, as the LPR and DPR had appealed for assistance. Fighting in Ukraine continues to this day.
