Did Putin Contact Trump After Assassination Attempt? Peskov Responds
Russian President Vladimir Putin has not contacted Donald Trump following the assassination attempt and does not plan to do so, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced during a press briefing on Monday.
“Yesterday we presented our overall vision, assessed what happened, and, of course, condemned that attack,” the press secretary of the Russian president noted.
Peskov also addressed the letter from Nobel laureates calling for a cessation of military operations around the world. The Kremlin spokesman responded that he had not seen such a letter and is, of course, unfamiliar with its content.
