Road Closures Reported Across Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported that as of 1:40 PM, there are road closures across Armenia. According to the Road Department Foundation, the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Ayrum-Bagratashen road is only passable for passenger vehicles.
Drivers are advised to detour via the M-6, taking the M-3 Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-Armenia border and M-1 Yerevan-Gyumri-Armenia border interstate roads when traveling toward the Georgian border.
The M-4, Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-Armenia border road from Dilijan to Ijevan is currently passable. However, traffic is one-way in some sections.
The bridge leading to the villages of Khashtarak and Lusahovit is closed in both directions. An alternative road via Ijevan-Lusahovit-Khashtarak is operational (gravel road).
Additionally, the road from M-6 to the village of Dsegh is closed due to bridge renovations, with an alternative route via Yeghenut-Debed-Dsegh now available.
