Ministry of Internal Affairs Confirms Bomb Threat at Gyumri's Shirak Airport was False
The bomb threat at Gyumri's Shirak Airport was a false alarm. This was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan, in an interview with Auroranews.
"Currently, efforts are underway to identify the caller and restore the regular operations of the airport," he noted.
It is worth mentioning that at around 08:50 today, the Shirak Regional Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia received a report claiming that a bomb had been planted at Gyumri's Shirak Airport. Emergency services and police personnel arrived at the scene.
