Kadyrov Responds to His Mother's Inclusion in EU Sanctions List

The leader of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, has commented on the 14th package of sanctions imposed by the European Union against Russia, which includes his mother, Ayman Kadyrova. She holds the position of president of the Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov Regional Public Foundation, as well as the charitable organization itself.

On his Telegram channel, he expressed gratitude to the EU for this gesture. “I sincerely thank the European Union for giving such a high assessment of Ayman Neseivan's activities. Her inclusion in the EU sanctions list, along with American sanctions, is recognition of her merits in supporting our fighters and their families,” he wrote.

Kadyrov also noted that this “gift” was received just before the 20th anniversary of the Russian Federal Organization’s establishment.
