US Coalition Aviation Violates Syrian Airspace 11 Times in One Day
The aviation of the international coalition led by the United States and unmanned aerial vehicles violated Syrian airspace 11 times in one day in the At-Tanf area. This was announced by Major General Yuri Popov, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties.
“In the At-Tanf region, 11 violations were recorded in one day by a pair of F-15 fighters, Typhoon aircraft, three pairs of A-10 Thunderbolt attack planes, and the coalition’s MQ-9 modular reconnaissance-strike drone,” Popov stated.
He noted that such actions by the coalition continue to create dangerous preconditions for aviation incidents and exacerbate the situation in Syrian airspace.
