Russia Ready to Support the Normalization of Relations Between Baku and Yerevan
Russia desires peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus and is ready to support the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, stated Mikhail Evdokimov, the Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan.
“Russia is interested in a peaceful and prosperous South Caucasus and is prepared to assist in the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan. The Russian side is convinced that the interference of external forces in regional affairs is unacceptable, and all issues should and can be resolved by the states of our region,” the ambassador noted during his speech at the fifth meeting of the Russia-Azerbaijan Expert Council in Baku.
