Pacific Fleet Begins Large-Scale Exercises
The Pacific Fleet has commenced large-scale exercises that will take place from June 18 to 28. Approximately 40 ships are participating in the drills, along with around 20 aircraft and helicopters from naval forces. This information was reported by the fleet's press service.
The exercises are being conducted in the maritime areas of the Pacific Ocean, Japanese Sea, and Sea of Okhotsk. It is noteworthy that on June 15, joint exercises were carried out in the Mediterranean Sea by the Pacific Fleet and vessels from the Egyptian Navy. The Russian Defense Ministry described the exercises as another practical step in strengthening naval cooperation between the two countries.
