Putin Doesn't Reject Anything, Says Peskov
Putin does not deny the possibility of negotiations with Ukraine, citing the presence of legitimate authorities there. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“Zelensky is not the person with whom you can formally document agreements regarding Ukraine, as it would be de jure illegal. Let’s see if Zelensky is ready to do everything to prevent the situation from worsening,” he said.
At the same time, Peskov pointed out that Russia does not exclude the possibility of negotiations themselves. “However, Putin does not reject anything. He does not reject the possibility of negotiations,” Peskov added.
