Zelensky's Chief of Staff on Putin's Proposal
Andrey Yermak, the head of Zelensky's office, stated that Ukraine is looking for an opportunity to present its "peace plan" to Moscow, but there will be no compromises on independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
The video of the Ukrainian official’s speech was released by Channel 24. The day before, Putin introduced a new initiative for negotiations and once again stated that Moscow is ready to sit down at the negotiation table as early as tomorrow.
Yermak mentioned that Kyiv could present its peace plan at the second summit regarding Ukraine. The summit on resolving the Ukraine conflict is scheduled to take place in Switzerland on June 15-16.
The Federal Council of the country announced that 100 delegations, including 57 heads of state, will participate in the event. China has declined to attend, citing the absence of Russian representatives.
The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, will also participate in the summit.
