13 Members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Detained, Including 2 Women: Garnik Danielyan
A renewed wave of repression against the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) has begun within the framework of fabricated criminal cases, wrote MP Garnik Danielyan on his Facebook page.
“Thirteen members of the ARF have already been detained, including two women and Garasim Vardanian, a member of the ARF Supreme Body of Armenia. A two-month detention decision has been made for one of the detainees. The repression is also continuing against Armenian businessmen who express their civic stance. All of this shows one thing: the regime can only maintain power through unprecedented repression against its own citizens,” he stated.
The best response to this wave of repression will be our presence on June 17 at 18:30 at the Baghramyan-Demirchyan intersection,” he added.
