Zelensky Responds to Putin's Proposal
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Vladimir Putin's proposal regarding the end of the conflict in Ukraine cannot be trusted, as reported by Reuters.
"These are ultimatum messages that are no different from previous ones," Zelensky asserted.
On Friday, during a meeting with the Russian Foreign Ministry leadership, Putin announced that Russia would immediately cease fire and declare its readiness for negotiations after the withdrawal of troops from the Luhansk People's Republic, Donetsk People's Republic, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions by Kyiv.
Additionally, Ukraine must officially inform NATO of its decision to abandon plans for membership, as Moscow requires Ukraine to maintain a neutral, non-aligned, and non-nuclear status for peaceful resolution.
