No One Will Go Unpunished: Putin Makes A Statement
Western countries’ freezing of Russian assets is theft that will not go unpunished. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Western countries have now frozen Russian assets and foreign exchange reserves. They are now trying to find some legal basis to permanently appropriate them. But despite all the tricks, theft will certainly remain theft. On the other hand, no one will go unpunished,” Putin noted.
According to the Russian president, the question is who will be next in line for asset confiscation, and it could be anyone.
