UK Prime Minister Responds to Questions About Resignation
UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has stated that he is not considering resignation following mistakes made during the election campaign. "No, of course not," Sunak said today in an interview with reporters while responding to questions about his potential resignation.
According to polls, the opposition Labour Party in the UK is likely to win the forthcoming general elections scheduled for July 4. It is anticipated that Labour leader Keir Starmer's party will lead by nearly 20 points over the current ruling Conservative Party.
It should be noted that one of the Prime Minister's blunders was his decision to leave a special event commemorating the 80th anniversary of the 1944 Afghan campaign, for which he later apologized to Britons.
