Will Possible Changes to Schengen Visa Fees Affect Armenian Citizens?

The spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has made a statement. “To inform media representatives and Armenian citizens: In light of certain reports circulating in the press regarding changes to the Schengen visa fee, we inform you that the fee for Schengen visas for Armenian citizens is established by the agreement signed on December 17, 2012, on the facilitation of visa issuance between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union. Therefore, any potential changes to the Schengen visa fee by the EU will not apply to Armenian citizens.

It is noted that according to the aforementioned agreement, the fee for visa application procedures amounts to 35 euros, and if the visa is issued through an external service provider (visa centers), the charge for that service should not exceed 30 euros,” the statement reads.
