There Are Closed and Difficult Access Roads in Armenia: Ministry of Emergency Situations
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and difficult access roads in the territory of Armenia.
The roads from the "Ambert" high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to the Amberd Fortress and the Kari Lake are closed.
The Sisian-Goris and Goris-Tatev roads are closed (due to snow) for trucks with trailers.
The Vardenyats Pass is passable for trucks with trailers only if equipped with snow chains.
The winding roads of Stepanavan are difficult to navigate for trucks.
According to information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for trucks.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
