Suspect Arrested in London for Stealing Banksy Artwork

A suspect has been arrested in London for allegedly stealing a piece of artwork by the renowned artist Banksy. Local police have announced that the investigation is ongoing and that the man is in custody.

Earlier reports indicated that a man had taken the new work by Banksy after it appeared on a street in South London. Bystanders witnessed the dismantling of the new artwork but did not attempt to stop the man in question.

The owner of one of the galleries told the BBC that Banksy's stolen piece could be worth around half a million pounds (approximately 635 thousand dollars).
