Blinken Hopeful to Host Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers in Washington Soon: O'Brien
The U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is hopeful that he will host the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, in Washington in the near future for peace negotiations. This was stated by James O'Brien, the U.S. Secretary of State's assistant for European and Eurasian affairs, on his microblog.
On December 6, O'Brien met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku. He noted in his post that he had positive and constructive discussions in Azerbaijan.
