France's Senate Calls for Rapid Response to Armenia's Artillery Needs
The Senate of France urges an expedited examination of the delivery of the "Caesar" self-propelled howitzers to Armenia, aiming to prevent the mistakes made in Ukraine and to avoid delays in the supply of necessary technologies. The focus is on the provision of offensive weaponry instead of defensive equipment. This information is stated in a report by the French Senate, published within the framework of the 2024 financial bill.
"We must respond rapidly to all inquiries from the Armenian authorities regarding their artillery needs," the report emphasizes. The document also mentions that 24 Bastion-type armored vehicles have been delivered to Armenia, with an additional 26 of the same type currently in production.
Furthermore, it notes that Armenia has signed an order for three GM200 radars and discusses the supply of MISTRAL 3 surface-to-air missile systems.
