The Amount Allocated for New Year's Decoration of the Capital Becomes Known

In anticipation of the New Year, the Yerevan Municipality has allocated 202 million 406 thousand drams for the capital's holiday decoration. This amount has been awarded without a competition to "Sinemaart" LLC, which will be responsible for the New Year decorations in the capital. This information was reported by "Hetq." According to the state procurement system armeps.am, the contract between the Yerevan Municipality and "Sinemaart" LLC was signed on November 7, 2023. Under the contract, the company will install festive lighting equipment throughout the city.

It is worth noting that this company also handled the New Year's decoration for Yerevan last year, again without a competition. At that time, 191 million drams were allocated for the holiday decoration.

According to the State Register of Legal Entities, "Sinemaart" LLC was founded on October 23, 2008. The director and 100% owner of the company is Ruben Shahinyan, who is the head of strategic programs at Public Television.

Today, Yerevan's Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan commented on why the holiday decorations were entrusted to "Sinemaart" LLC. According to the Deputy Mayor, there is no personal connection with this company, and the contract was signed because the company properly executed the festive decoration of the capital last year.
