The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan has not disclosed the amount that the municipality will spend on New Year decorations. In response to a question from MediaHub, Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan stated, "When I say I won't quote a figure, it means that when the figure is accurate and final, you will know. I don't understand why it is so important to know specific numbers at this moment. We must operate transparently, so that public funds are not used in a way that the journalistic community or everyone else is unaware of it. Can anyone say that you have signed some contract, spent funds, and not informed us? Of course, they cannot, because we do not work that way."
