What Options Are Israel and Hamas Discussing for Hostage Exchange
On November 10, an agreement was reached to exchange 100 Palestinian women and children detained by Israel for 100 Israeli hostages. This is reported by the Al-Arabiya television channel, citing sources, as conveyed by Meduza.
According to diplomatic sources from the channel, several proposals for the exchange have emerged during negotiations over the past weeks, with Qatar playing a key mediating role. One of the options discussed involves the release of 10-15 hostages in exchange for a one or two-day ceasefire.
It is noted that the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insists that there will be no ceasefire as long as Hamas does not release the hostages. The Israeli side has not officially announced any agreement reached.
