Another Earthquake Recorded in Iran, Felt in Armenia as Well
On November 8, at 11:08 AM (GMT 07:08), the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations registered an earthquake in Iran, located 59 km southeast of the city of Parsabad at geographical coordinates of 39.13°N latitude and 48.05°E longitude, with a focal depth of 10 km and a magnitude of 4.7.
The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral zone reached 6-7 points. This earthquake (aftershock of the 5.4 magnitude tremor on November 8 at 09:18) was felt in the cities of Kajaran, Meghri, Sisian, and Goris in the Syunik region, with an intensity of 2-3 points.
It is worth noting that there had also been reports of an earthquake occurring in the Azerbaijan-Iran border area earlier.
