"Zangezur Corridor Will Become a Base for NATO," Says Iranian President
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has stated to representatives from Armenia and Azerbaijan that the Zangezur Corridor will become a base for NATO. This was reported by Mohammad Jamshidi, the Deputy Director for Political Affairs in the Iranian President's Office, on X.
“The Secretary of the Armenian Security Council and the Special Envoy of the Azerbaijani President have presented reports to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. In both meetings, the President stated that the 'Zangezur Corridor' poses a national security threat to the countries, and therefore, Iran is firmly opposed to the activation of the 'Zangezur Corridor',” he wrote.
