Tragic Car Accident in Shirak Province: Casualties and 7 Injured
A major and tragic car accident occurred today in Shirak Province. Around 18:10, vehicles of the Mitsubishi Grandis and Nissan Tiida brands collided on the 93 km stretch of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway.
According to Shamshyan.com, three individuals died at the scene, while seven others with varying degrees of injuries were transported to medical centers in Gyumri and Maralik. Citizens were the first to provide assistance to the injured, followed by medical emergency teams and rescuers from the Shirak regional rescue department.
Some victims had to be extricated from the vehicles by rescuers using specialized equipment. The police and investigation department are currently identifying the drivers, deceased, and injured individuals.
