Rights of Armenians Must Be Respected, Says Iranian President
The rights of Armenians must be respected, and the borders in the region must remain inviolable. This was stated by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi during a military parade held in Tehran.
Raisi noted that the country's armed forces are capable of preventing any geopolitical changes and halting border alterations. He added that the presence of foreign forces in the region is undesirable.
He emphasized that the formidable presence of Iran's armed forces in the region would avert any changes to geopolitical and regional borders.
“Regarding the events taking place in the region, we assert that the rights of Armenians must be respected; therefore, the security and rights of Armenians in the region must be ensured, and the current borders cannot be altered,” he stated.
“Karabakh undoubtedly belongs to Azerbaijan, but it is essential to ensure the safety and rights of Armenians in the region,” he remarked.
