Tomorrow in Yevlakh, Representatives of Stepanakert and Baku Will Negotiate: Pashinyan and Putin Have Had a Phone Conversation
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the situation surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh during a phone conversation today. The Kremlin's press service reported that the call was initiated by the Armenian side.
It was noted that the Russian president welcomed the agreement reached for a cessation of hostilities involving Russian peacekeepers and the decision to hold negotiations between representatives of Stepanakert and Baku on September 21 in Yevlakh.
It was also reported that during the negotiations in Yevlakh on September 21, Russian peacekeepers will act as mediators. Despite the challenging conditions, the peacekeepers continue to fulfill their assigned tasks and provide assistance to the civilian population and evacuated persons.
