Ukrainian MPs Banned from Traveling to Poland: Reasons Revealed
Ukrainian Members of Parliament have been banned from traveling to Poland due to a grain embargo. This information has been reported by the onet.pl portal.
Several sources, including senior officials from Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada, have confirmed this news. Opposition MP Mykola Knyazhitsky from the 'European Solidarity' party stated that a secret order had been issued to prevent MPs from leaving the country. He expressed his outrage at being denied passage across the border, despite the necessity to travel to Poland.
The situation has been commented on by Vasyl Zvarych, Ukraine's ambassador to Poland. He stated that travel is not completely prohibited, but MPs can go on business trips as part of parliamentary delegations, as well as by official invitation from other countries' parliaments.
