The Name of the New Russian Peacekeeper Commander in Nagorno-Karabakh is Known
Kiril Kulakov has been officially appointed as the head of the peacekeeping mission in Artsakh. This information has been reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
He replaces Colonel General Alexander Lentsov, who served for four months.
Kulakov has served as a platoon commander, deputy commander of a battalion, chief of staff as a deputy commander of a battalion, and commander of a battalion, all in tank units.
Since 2004, he has led the departments for the operation of armored vehicles and technology at the Kazan Higher Military Command School. From 2014, he oversaw the Suvorov, Kutuzov, and Alexander Nevsky 7th separate guards brigades of the Orenburg Cossack brigade.
In 2017, he was appointed as the head of the Kazan Higher Tank Command School.
