Wagner Group Registered as Educational Organization in Belarus

The Wagner military group has been officially registered in Belarus as an educational organization. This is reported by Russian media, referencing the country's unified state register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.

The "Wagner Group" company was registered by the executive committee of the Osipovich district on August 4 of this year. The type of activity listed includes "other types of education." According to the registration, the company is located in the village of Cel, Mogilev region.

It is worth noting that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that he wishes for the fighters of the Wagner private military company to stay in the country for contractual service with the Belarusian army. He also denied reports about the Wagner group advancing toward the Polish border, mentioning that the group's militants are stationed at a temporary camp in central Belarus.
