IAEA Discovers Mines Near Zaporizhzhia NPP
Experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have discovered guided action anti-tank mines in the vicinity of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, posing no threat to the facility. This was stated by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.
During an inspection on July 23, the IAEA team found the mines located in a buffer zone between the inner and outer perimeters of the facility. Experts emphasized that these mines are situated in a restricted area where power plant staff do not have access. No such munitions were found within the inner perimeter.
