Aliyev Threatens Azerbaijani Activists and Bloggers Living in Europe

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has threatened Azerbaijani activists and bloggers living in Europe, instilling fear of reprisals against them. The statement was reported by the Bagramyan 26 Telegram channel.

“We will find them and punish them in such a way that they will regret it,” Aliyev publicly declared. However, democratic nations are turning a blind eye to these statements from the Azerbaijani president and continue their dealings with him.

Azerbaijani journalist and blogger Tural Sadiglin reported the threats directed at him to European security forces. It should be noted that back in May 2022, Sadiglin accused the official Baku of preparing an attack against him, stating that Aliyev’s regime had sent ethnic Azerbaijanis from Georgia to Munich to follow him.
