Zelensky Evaluates NATO Summit Outcomes
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that the results of the NATO summit are not perfect but are good. He made this announcement during a speech at an event broadcast by the presidential office.
“The results of the summit are good, but they would have been perfect if there were an invitation,” the President of Ukraine said.
He expressed gratitude to the alliance members for their "important steps" and for providing Ukraine with security guarantees on the path to NATO membership instead of full accession.
Zelensky noted on his Telegram channel that "NATO will provide security to Ukraine," and "Ukraine will strengthen the alliance." He thanked Canada for "empowering soldiers with armored vehicles," highlighting the "strong agreements", as well as announcing agreements regarding additional Patriot systems and missiles from Germany, along with the provision of long-range weapons from Great Britain.
