Tumo Centers to Open in Japan: Hakob Arshakyan

Three Tumo centers will be established in Japan. This information was shared by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Hakob Arshakyan.

On his Facebook page, he noted that an agreement was reached on September 27-29, 2022, with Japan's Minister of Digital Affairs Taro Kono to initiate work on establishing a Tumo center in Japan.

Now, the results of the visit and the agreement are coming to fruition. “Director of Tumo's Development, Bekor Papazyan, and Vice Governor of Gunma, Keiichi Uruga, have signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the opening of Tumo centers and boxes in the cities of Maebashi, Takasaki, and Kusatsu in Japan,” Arshakyan wrote.

It is worth mentioning that Tumo is an innovative center with an open media studio, which opened in Yerevan in August 2011. The center offers a practical extracurricular program in the IT sector for teenagers aged 12-18. Subsequently, similar centers have been opened in Gyumri, Dilijan, and Stepanakert.
