VIDEO: Traffic Jam at Crimea Bridge Reaches 13 km
The traffic jam near the entrance to the Crimea Bridge from the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar region has reached approximately 13 km, reported the Kuban headquarters. Rescue workers and volunteers are providing assistance to drivers and passengers.
“Volunteers, along with staff from the local government and the Tamanskoye rural community, are helping drivers and passengers waiting in line, distributing water (over 5 tons of water is handed out daily),” the statement said.
It was noted that the emergency rescue team from the Temryuk district, the rescuers of “Kuban-SOS,” and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are on-site to assist drivers.
Earlier, the Minister of Transport of Crimea, Nikolai Lukashenko, reported that as of 9:00 AM on Monday, the traffic jam near the entrance to the Crimea Bridge from the Krasnodar region had reached 8 km.
