Former Defense Ministry Land to Be Auctioned
The former land of the Armenian Ministry of Defense will be put up for privatization. This decision was made during today’s government session. It is one of the 54 non-reporting issues included in the agenda.
The approximately 6,000 square meter area is located on Isakov Avenue in Yerevan. Previously, it was on the balance sheet of the Ministry of Defense, but by a government decision on April 15, 2022, this and another 70 plots were transferred to the State Property Management Committee for further privatization as excessive structures.
The cadastral value of the plot is about 344.3 million drams or more than 880 thousand dollars.
Additionally, several other plots will be auctioned, including two plots of two and three thousand square meters located on G. Hovsepyan Street in the Norq-Marash administrative district, as well as a number of other plots.
