Putin and Erdogan Have Held a Telephone Conversation
On Monday, May 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during which he congratulated the Turkish leader on his re-election for a new term and discussed bilateral and regional issues with him. According to the statement, Putin expressed 'hope that the election results will be in favor of the Turkish people' during the conversation.
