President of Georgia Proposes Boycott of Local Georgian Airways

The President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, has proposed a boycott of the local airline Georgian Airways.

It is noteworthy that today the first flight of the Georgian airline Georgian Airways, operating a direct flight from Tbilisi to Moscow after a four-year break, has landed at Vnukovo Airport.

Prior to this, participants in a protest against the landing of the Russian flight blocked the road near Tbilisi International Airport.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili had previously stated that the restoration of direct air communication with Russia aligns with national policy goals and serves the interests of the country.
