2,700 Hectares Occupied Only from Kapan Community on September 13-14: Tatoyan Publishes Data
The former human rights defender Arman Tatoyan has presented some results of their fact-finding work in Syunik through a Facebook post.
"Only from the territory of the Kapan community and as a result of the Azerbaijani military attacks and criminal incursions on September 13-14, 2022, the following areas have come under Azerbaijani occupation:
- 2,400 hectares of specially protected lands.
- 170 hectares of forest lands.
- 130 hectares of community lands.
Total: 2,700 hectares.
In addition to the mentioned 2,700 hectares, more than 1,000 hectares of land have ended up in a danger zone, where it is either impossible to carry out agricultural or any other type of work, or these activities have been significantly complicated due to real dangers to life. In particular (according to villages):

- Srashen
- Shikahogh
- Jrakaten
- Geghanush
