The Situation Surrounding Tegh Village is a Consequence of Deficiencies: Andranik Kocharyan

The situation created is a consequence of deficiencies. This was stated by Andranik Kocharyan, the Chairman of the National Assembly's Defense and Security Committee, during a broadcast on public television, in response to the question of why engineering works have not been carried out near Tegh village for months and why the issue has not been addressed.

“Deficiencies arose because perhaps there was a lack of understanding regarding how the adversary would behave in relation to this specific road. Due to these deficiencies, they have made progress. Days after these shortcomings, the commander of the border troops was removed from office, and a service investigation was launched. If there had been no deficiencies, we could have been facing an entirely different situation today and yesterday,” Kocharyan noted.
