Government Allocates 1.15 Billion Drams for Purchasing Vehicles and Equipment for Police Patrols
The government, during its meeting today on April 6, allocated 1 billion 153 million drams from the reserve fund for the operation of the patrol service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia in the Ararat, Armavir, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik regions.
This funding will be directed towards acquiring necessary vehicles and equipment, as well as improving the building conditions of police divisions.
The rationale behind the project states: 'It is proposed to purchase the goods (objects of purchase), works, and services specified in the 5th annex of this decision through the current year's 1,158 expenditure program of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, with the account of the reserve fund of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. For the measure 'Satisfaction of the needs of the Police of the Republic of Armenia' 31001, it is proposed to allocate 1,003.4 million drams to the item 'Construction of buildings and structures' 5112, and redirect 150.2 million drams to the item 'Other vehicles and equipment' 5129.'
