My disagreements with the Prime Minister are excluded; there is no conflict between us and there never can be. We are one team; he is my leader, my friend, and my partner. This was stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, in a conversation with reporters when asked if there were any disagreements between him and the Prime Minister.

In response to a journalist's observation that the Prime Minister's son, Ashot Pashinyan, denied any attack against him, implying that Simonian had lied, Alen Simonian said: "No, it doesn’t mean that. I will not label anything; my political assessment remains the same."
