Kabaeva's Mother and Medvedev's Family Also Subject to Sanctions as Zelensky Expands List
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has imposed sanctions on 33 Russian citizens and 225 companies. This was announced in a decree published on the official website of the country's leader.
According to the document, the sanctions against all 33 individuals are set for a period of 10 years. The sanctions include asset freezing, cessation of trade transactions, revocation of licenses, and other restrictions, totaling 11 measures. Restrictions against legal entities are also set for a 10-year term.
“Strana UA” reports that Zelensky has also imposed sanctions on Dmitry Medvedev’s wife and son.
Included in the sanctions list is also Alina Kabaeva's mother, Lyubov Kabaeva.
