Who Will Be Iran's New Ambassador to Armenia
Iran's new ambassador to Armenia will be Mahdi Sobhani. This is reported by the Iranian ISNA agency.
It is noted that Sobhani will replace the current ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri. Currently, Sobhani is serving as the head of Iran's diplomatic mission in Syria.
The current ambassador of Iran to Armenia, Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri, was appointed to the ambassadorial position in December 2019.
