I Can't Imagine American Soldiers Inspecting Russian Nuclear Facilities: Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared that he cannot imagine American soldiers inspecting Russian nuclear facilities while they are providing support to the regime in Kyiv.
The President emphasized that NATO countries, even indirectly, are complicit in the crimes of the Kyiv regime, which includes shelling residential areas in Novorossiya and Donetsk.
“Among other things, considering what they are doing today in Ukraine, I simply cannot imagine that American soldiers would be inspecting our nuclear facilities. It’s just ridiculous,” Putin said in an interview with Pavel Zarubin for the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin,” which aired on the “Rossiya 1” television channel.
The Russian President noted that Russia is forced to return to discussions concerning the nuclear capabilities of Great Britain and France, as NATO has shown that it is a military alliance rather than a political one.
Furthermore, he stated that Moscow does not object to the participation of NATO countries in discussions regarding the reduction of strategic offensive weapons treaties. “NATO is not formally a party to that treaty, which involves two sides—Russia and the United States. NATO has made a statement in this regard while also appearing to issue some kind of debate on this matter. Well, if that’s the case, then please, we’re not against it; let them participate in that debate,” Putin said.
The Russian President emphasized that Russia agrees that the world must change, and it never obstructs this process, including within the framework of the UN. However, Russia opposes the idea that a new world should be built solely in the interests of one country, in this case, the United States.
