Russia is Not Planning to Abandon Its Obligations to Armenia, Says Kopirkin
The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia, Sergey Kopirkin, stated in an interview with Sputnik Armenia that Russia has no plans to withdraw from the South Caucasus and Armenia.
"There is no question that Russia will leave the South Caucasus region. The South Caucasus is a vitally important region, and Russia is de facto a part of it," he emphasized.
The ambassador also reminded that the Russian Federation has allied obligations to Armenia, which it does not intend to abandon.
