Stray Dogs Attack My 10-Year-Old Grandson in Gyumri: Hakob Khachatryan
A resident of Gyumri, Hakob Khachatryan, shared photographs on his page yesterday, accompanied by a post stating, "Stray dogs attacked my 10-year-old grandson near the building at 9/1 Mush neighborhood, causing bodily harm to his face and thigh. Fortunately, a passerby came to help. I am addressing the mayor, who will be held accountable for this incident? Who should I turn to?"
The citizen's post sparked a lively discussion among netizens. One user advised taking legal action against both the municipality and the mayor's office for putting people in dangerous situations. Another suggested allocating a space for stray dogs, feeding and caring for them like in all normal countries. A different user pointed out that people lack basic respect in dealing with both humans and animals. "We must first show compassion to starving, cold, and abused animals, which, by the way, many of our children are beating, before demanding calm from the animals," they remarked.
