28-Year-Old Man Dies in Yerevan After Swallowing Suspicious Package
Today, a 28-year-old man named Hayk B. died in the intensive care unit of Armenia Medical Center after being transported there by police due to his critical condition. He had reportedly swallowed a suspicious package at the scene, which caused his health to deteriorate.
This was reported by Shamshyan.com. In January, law enforcement received operational information indicating that Hayk B., a resident of Yerevan, was in possession of narcotics in his Mercedes G 500 vehicle as well as on his person.
The police stopped Hayk B.'s vehicle at a section of the road leading from Baghramyan Avenue to the well-known “Orbeli Tunnel.” As the driver stepped out of the vehicle, he reportedly swallowed something.
Once at the hospital, the medical staff presented the police with items found in his clothing pockets, including a package containing a white powdery substance weighing 0.62 grams.
