Iran Announces Purchase of Su-35 Fighter Jets from Russia

Iran has purchased Su-35 fighter jets from Russia, with deliveries expected in the spring.

This was announced to Tasnim by Shahriyar Heydari, a member of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission.

According to him, the fighter jets ordered from Russia are set to be delivered at the beginning of next year. Based on the Iranian calendar, this starts in March.

The representative also stated that Iran has ordered other military equipment from Russia, including air defense systems, missile complexes, and helicopters, most of which will be acquired in the near future.
