Will Sagatelyan Resign His Mandate? The MP Responds
During a press briefing with journalists at the National Assembly, Ishkhan Sagatelyan, a member of the Armenia parliamentary group "Hayastan," addressed the question of whether he would resign his mandate.
“I won't hide it, there has been such a discussion, but the Supreme Body of the ARF has made a decision that all ARF deputies of the 'Hayastan' faction must participate in the work of the parliament. There is no longer anything personal or individual in the party when there is a decision from the Supreme Body. Therefore, I will not resign my mandate; if we were to do so, we would all resign,” Sagatelyan said.
When asked what disagreements exist within the faction, Sagatelyan responded: “‘Reviving Armenia’ has made its statement, the ‘Hayastan’ faction has responded to it, I have nothing more to add.”
